Marvin Harder

Marvin Harder began his professional studies on the east coast, studying at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax. Upon graduating with his Bachelor of Fine Arts he made the move to Montreal, where his creative interests focused on Graphic Design and Typography. After a number of years working as a freelance designer in Montreal, opportunities led him to Victoria, British Columbia where he successfully freelanced, producing award winning design for the publishing industry.
In 2006 Marvin was accepted to pursue a joint practice and research based Masters of Book Design at the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at the University of Reading, in Reading, England. Graduating with distinction he has now returned to Montreal and opened a studio with a focus on complex text and information design.
